Welcome

Over the past fifteen years, Life Reform Africa has worked to transform lives in western Kenya, Kitabisi villages. Working with the local church, by God’s grace and His provision, we have built a primary school to provide free education for 150 orphan children, dug boreholes to provide clean drinking water, and set up a vocational training school to teach tailoring skills to single mothers, widows and vulnerable teenage girls, enabling them to gain economic independence, provided wheelchairs and glasses for the physically and visually impaired and supporting widows. “Read in our stories” below for more.

We are a small charity, with limited resources, so any support that you are able to give would be most gratefully received. If you would like further information, contact details are available via the contact button above.

School building

School

The school has 215 pupils of whom 150 are orphans who were neglected and vulnerable to child abuse and had no access to education. The school has tremendously impacted and changed the narrative of the Kitabisi community. We meet their basic needs( Food, clothing, health, and shelter) from well-wishers and friends.

The school employs 16 dedicated members of staff and has been the envy of neighboring and regional institutions for its outstanding performance and discipline.

Church

Over the past fifteen years, Life Reform Africa has worked to transform lives in Kitabisi villages in partnership with Life Reform Fellowship Church. The Church provides oversight to all projects and volunteers who have worked tirelessly to make a difference in people's lives.

Friends and well-wishers' support in the UK enabled us to build a permanent church auditorium after the old one made out of mud walls was pulled down by the storm. The church Hall is on the same compound as the school and is used as a community resource and rehab center for people who abuse substances and mental health with counseling. The building is roofed with iron sheets and can be extremely hot and needs more refurbishing to fully open it as a community center and library which will be the first one in the whole county.
